Girls Place Second at Marysville
The boys' and girls' cross country teams traveled to Marysville on Saturday, Sept. 1. The girls ran well and placed second as a team. Karly VanCampen came in first with a time of 17:46.77 followed by Kenzie George in second with a time of 18:28.32. Alyssa Hubert came in 5th in a time of 19:17.28. Blair Bloomfield finished 28th in 22:22.23 and Kayle VanCampen finished 32nd with a time of 23:29.81.
Three boys ran in Marysville. Alex Potuzak medalled by placing 16th in a time of 21:34.01. Barrett Winter placed 53rd and Jacob Wren placed 59th with times of 26:25.25 and 28:48.85 respectively.
The teams run again Thursday, Sept. 13 at Onaga.
