Cross Country Competes at Onaga
Clifton-Clyde traveled to Onaga on September 13. The girls ran first and Karly VanCampen was the first Eagle to cross the finish line. She completed the 4000 meter course in 16:47.39, good enough for 4th place and a season best time. Kenzie George finished in 10th in 17:41.88. Blair Bloomfield was 30th in 20:26.44 and earned the final individual medal. Allie Bloomfield finished 32nd in 20:48.38. The team finished 5th but was short two runners. All the girls had personal best times.
The boys competed immediately after the girls. Alex Potuzak was the first Eagle to finish, finishing 26th in 21:52.57. Jacob Wren finished 52nd in 27:52.46 and Trevor Barnes was 54th in 28:2149. Wren and Barnes had personal bests.
The Eagles completed well and continue to improve with each meet.
