Volleyball at Blue Valley
Clifton-Clyde Eagle volleyball traveled to Blue Valley Tuesday,
Sept. 11. They played Blue Valley, Centralia, and Hanover all
back to back.
The Lady Eagles defeated Blue Valley in three games: 13-25,
25-18, and 25-23. Overall their serving was 96%. Molly
Potuzak contributed 11 kills, Allie Bloomfield had 4,
Keely Kieffer had 2 and Blair Bloomfield had
1.
Against Centralia, the Lady Eagles lost 11-25
and 10-25, serving was 93% with 9 kills and 3 setting
assists.

Their last match was against Hanover. CCHS won 25-18 and
25-19. They had 96% serving, 13 kill hits, 12 setting
assists, and 4 kill blocks.
Season Totals as of 9/11/07: 95% serving team total, the team
has 156 kills (Molly Potuzak with 70, Allie
Bloomfield and Keely Kieffer each with 33, Blair
Bloomfield with 16, Jamie Long with 2, and Katie George
with 1 kill). Katie George has 14 setting assists. and
Jamie Long has 91. The team has a total of 46 kill blocks
(Molly Potuzak with 23, Keely Kieffer with 9, Allie
Bloomfield with 8, and Blair Bloomfield with 6). The
Clifton-Clyde Eagle volleyball record is now 3-4 in the TVL and 5-8
overall.
