Cross Country at Belleville
The Clifton-Clyde cross counrty team competed at the Belleville Country Club onSeptember 20th. Many teams participated including Riley County,Concordia, Bennington, Wakefield, Marysville plus many more. Alex Potuzak ran for the varsity boys placing 25th with a time of 21:23.28. Then the varsity girls' team ran with Karly VanCampen taking 12th with a time of 17:37.15 and Kenzie George coming in 12th right behind her with a time of 17:38.09, Alyssa Hubert finished 31st with a time of 19:23.03, Blair Bloomfield in 60th place and Kayle VanCampen in 68th place. The girls placed 6th as a team with 153 points.
Runningfor the
boys junior varsity team was Trevor Barnes coming in 24th with
a
time of 26:58.60 and Jake Wren placing 26th place with a time of
27:25.85.
The next meet will be held on September 29th at Centralia.
