Girls Crowned TVL Champs
The Clifton-Clyde girls' cross country team won a TVL championship in Washington on Sept. 11. The girls' team placed first with 25 points followed by Hanover with a close 26 points. Individual finishes included Karly VanCampen who won league with a time of 15:42.73, Kenzie George who placed second with a time of 16:14.35, Alyssa Hubert who finished 8th with a time of 17:00.02, Blair Bloomfield who completed the course in a time of 19:16.24, Allie Bloomfield who finished with a time of 19:23.05, and Kayle VanCampen who crossed the line in 20:13.41.
For the boys Alex Potuzak placed 4th in league with a time of 18:22.00, Trevor Barnes finished with a time of 24:50.00, and Jake Wren ran the course in 25:41.00.
All runners improved their times by far at this meet.
