Land Judging

On Wednesday, September 19th, five members of the Clifton-Clyde FFA Chapter attended the North Central District Land Evaluation CDE. The members included Nicole Barnes, Barrett Winter, Amber LeDuc, Zach Cyphers, and Andrew Ericson. They participated in judging land sites and home sites. This was a learning experience to the members because it was the first Land Evaluation CDE the chapter has attended in a while. The group determined textures of soils, evaluated slope, and determined the speed of run off and permeability of water. The chapter plans on studying up some more and attending again next year.
