Special Board of Education Meeting
May 14, 2008, 8:00 p.m.

Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Vice-President Koch.
Personnel
Motion made by Rogers, seconded by Branfort to enter into executive session for a period
of thirty minutes to discuss non-elected personnel matters in order to protect the privacy
interests of the individuals to be discussed. Motion carried 5-0.
The board entered into the session at 8:04 p.m. and reconvened in open session at
8:34 p.m.
Mr. Roberts and Ms. Odgers were invited into the session.
Board Member Arrives
Feight arrived at 8:04 p.m.
Motion made by Feight, seconded by Brown to extend the executive session for a period
of thirty minutes. Motion carried 6-0.
The board entered into the session at 8:35 p.m. and reconvened in open session at
9:05 p.m.
Mr. Roberts and Ms. Odgers were invited into the session.
The board took a ten minutes break, after which Mr. Roberts announced that Ms. Cheryl
Keim has been hired as the CCHS principal for the 2008-09 school year. Her contract will
begin on August 1 and she will be compensated at $62,000 plus a single insurance policy.
