Girls First at Washington

VanCampen finishes first, George second

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM WINS MEET

The Clifton-Clyde girls won their second meet of the year. The girls scored 53 points to win. Nemaha Valley was 2nd with 83, Washington County 3rd with 84. Karly VanCampen won the meet with a time of 15:56. Kenzie George was 2nd in 16:45, Ashley Seifert 16th in 19:30, Blair Bloomfield 18th in 19:51, Kayle VanCampen 26th in 21:19 and Allie Bloomfield 27th in 21:37. The first 4 girls medaled individually and everyone received a team medal.

The boys had only four members run. This was one short of a team. Alex Potuzak running after being out with an injury was the first Eagle to finish in 15th with a time of 20:39. Grant Rogers placed 36th in 22:55, Mitchell Long 47th in 24:33 and Christian Newell 50th in 24:50.
