VanCampen Places 3rd

Potuzak Finishes 17th

Cross Country Runs at Belleville

On Thursday, September 26 the Eagles participated in the Belleville Invitational. Belleville was very competitive with 15 teams participating and several 3A and 4A schools.

At Belleville the boys' varsity runs first. Alex Potuzak and Cody Newell ran on varsity for the Eagles. Alex finished in 20:09 earning the 17th place medal. Cody finish 46th in 22:26.

In the girls' race Karly VanCampen was the first Eagle to finish. She finished in 3rd in 16:24. Kenzie George finished 9th in 17:15. Ashley Seifert was 35th in 20:09, Blair Bloomfield 39th in 20:35, Kayle VanCampen 53rd, 23:31, and Allie Bloomfield 54th in 23:38. The Eagles finished 4th as a team. Clay Center won the meet.

Several boys ran in the junior varsity race. Mitchell Long finished 29th in 25:16, Grant Rogers 31st in 25:25, Trevor Barnes 33rd in 25:47 and Jordan Breeding 41st in 28:17.
