Girls Repeat as TVL Champs

The cross country team competed in the league meet at Lake Centralia on October 16. The Eagle girls easily outdistanced the rest of the field to capture their 3rd TVL title and the second consecutive. The Eagles scored 13 points as a team followed by Frankfort with 38 and Washington with 44. Karly VanCampen was the TVL champion finishing in 16:11. Kenzie George was second in 17:06, Ashley Seifert finished 6th in 18:36, Alyssa Hubert 9th in 18:52, Blair Bloomfield 14th in 20:01, and Allie Bloomfield 26th in 25:08. The first 12 individuals earned medals.
The boys also competed at Centralia. Alex Potuzak was the first Eagle to finish the 5K course. He finished in 3rd place with a time of 18:16. Grant Rogers was the 2nd Eagle. He placed 40th in a time of 23:19. Trevor Barnes 43rd, in 24:12, Jordan Breeding 44th in 24:14, and Mitchell Long 49th in 24:56.
