CCHS RUNS IN THE COLD

CCHS CROSS COUNTRY HAS COLD RUN The cross-country team traveled to Leonardville on Saturday, October 10. The temperature was in the 30’s and the wind was blowing hard out of the north. This meet had middle school runners participate and the Eagles’ Airika Long ran and place 4th in 7:05 for 1600 meters. The girls’ varsity ran next with only 5 out of 9 Eagles running. Kenzie George was the first Eagle to finish. She finished in 15th with a time of 17:55.06, Danielle Seifert was next at 63rd in 20:25, Alyssa Hubert 66th in 20:34, Keegan Hubert 91st 23:05, and Morgan Feight finished in 25:59. The boys ran at 11:00 but the weather was not any warmer. Alex Potuzak was the first Eagle to finish. He finished 21st in 19:01. Next was Alex Deaver at 30th in 19:51, Drew Deaver 93rd 22:07, Trevor Barnes 110th in 23:14, Dalton Porter 112th 23:16. Mitchell Long clocked in at 24:42, Grant Rogers 25:23, Jordan Breeding 26:24, and Lucas Branfort 28:12.
