Senate Representative Mark Taddiken -- Mark.Taddiken@senate.ks.gov State Board of Education Kathy Martin -- martinkathy@yahoo.com An example letter: Dear Representative Bowers, Senator Taddiken, State School Board Member Martin;: Our educational system has seen funding decrease dramatically in the last year. I fear that this loss of revenue will reverse the great educational strides that our public schools have made in the past three years. Educational achievement is at an all-time high, but I fear that loss of funding will decrease the educational opportunities for all children in Kansas. I encourage you to restore the funding to schools and universities. Please fund education as the law states. No one likes to pay taxes, but it is necessary to pay them to provide opportunities for our students. Working together, Kansas can continue to be a leader in education, agriculture, and aviation. WE are counting on you to do what is right for Kansas and our children. --------------- Be an advocate for the future of our children here in Kansas.
