SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

American Legion Auxiliary Department of Kansas
Application for this scholarship may be made by children, grand-children, great grand-children or unmarried widows of veterans who served in the Armed Forces at specific times. To see a list of those times, contact Mrs. Newell.
The application deadline is May 1st and must be mailed to Topeka.
County Weed Directors Association of Kansas
The CWDAK is a professional organization providing training and assistance for the 105 weed directors in Kansas. The CWDAK would like to help students prepare for careers in the agriculture/agronomy industry and increase awareness of the County Weed Department’s role in local government.
The CWDAK will sponsor two $250 scholarships for the Fall semester of 2010. These scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors majoring in Agriculture or a plant science related field at an accredited Kansas college.
Requirements include:
Have a 3.0 gpa on a 4.0 gpa scale
Attend a Kansas school in the fall
Major in Agriculture studies
Return completed application by May 1st.
