KAY Area III Project
As a committee, we thought the teachers and staff at the Clifton-Clyde high school have been greatly understanding on letting us get out of classes for our meetings. For our project, we decided to put together goodie bags and deliver them to all the teachers and staff at our school.
The committee met to go through the guide lines for the project, and discussed how to go about making the bags. We set up a date to go shopping for all the needed supplies. After we purchased all the necessary supplies, we began putting the bags together. Blair Bloomfield, Bryna Knox, Michelle George, Blake Biery, Dana Johnson, Jr. Tinay, and Stephanie Brownell assembled the bags and sorted them for delivery. In each of the bags were plenty of useful supplies that are needed everyday. Attached to each bag was a little note explaining the project, and thanking the staff for their services. As soon as the goodie bags were ready, we delivered the bags to the teachers and staff. Each staff member was ecstatic to see the bags. We received thank you notes from some of the teachers for the goodie bags.
The poster was presented at the Regional Conference in Onaga on November 10.
