by Brian Pekarek

The Clifton-Clyde High School FBLA chapter recently attended the 2009 National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. Mrs. Blaha sponsored seven members on their trip to California. With over seven thousand in attendance, this year’s National Leadership Conference was responsible for hosting the most FBLA members in the history of the organization. Responsible for voting for the Mountain Plain Region’s Vice-President, Trevor Barnes and Dylan Koch were the chapters Local Voting Delegates. Megan Blackwood and Stephanie Brownell presented the chapter’s American Enterprise Project. Ashley Moore, Alexandra Price, and Sarah Condray presented the chapter’s Web Development Project. Trevor Barnes and Dylan Koch competed in the Management Information Systems event. Barnes and Koch were honored with the award of receiving 5th place in their event. While there, the competitors had the opportunity to visit many attractions including The House of Blues Restaurant, California Adventureland, and the Disneyland Theme park.
