2010 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest

            This contest promotes student involvement in the civic life of our country.  Students can explore the compelling concept of political courage.

            You will write an original and creative essay of less than 1,000 words that demonstrate an understanding of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage

            For more information, visit the Kennedy Presidential Library’s website, www.jfklibrary.org

            All students must register online.  Essays can be submitted online or via regular mail by the postmark date of January 9, 2010.

 

 Cloud County Community College

            CCCC is hosting their annual College Planning Conference on Monday, October 26thThe conference begins at 1:30 and concludes at 2:30 in Bryant Gymnasium. 

            This conference provides an excellent opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to learn more about universities/colleges, 2-year colleges and technical schools, propriety schools, and the Armed Forces.  More than 45 institutions will be represented at the conference.

            KWU Junior Day for high school juniors and their families is Monday, April 19th.
