CROSS COUNTRY GIRLS THREE-PEAT AS TVL CHAMPS
The girls won the TVL Meet on October 15. After a poor outing in the cold at Leonardville the girls had one of their best meets of the year. All the girls did what they needed to do to complete the 3-peat as TVL Champs. The girls were led by Karly VanCampen who won the meet at 16:00 minutes for the 4000K. Kenzie George was the second Eagle to finish. She finished in 4th with a time of 16:43. Alyssa Hubert finished 8th in 18:15, Danielle Seifert 12th in 19:01, Ashley Seifert 14th in 19:43, Keegan Hubert 17th in 20:02, and Caitlin Charbonneau 26th in 21:12. All the girls had their best times of the year. The girls team score was 19, Washington was second with 26, Onaga followed with 49, and Frankfort ended with 66.
Alex Potuzak who finished second after challenging for first the entire race led the boys. Alex finished in 18:05. The second Eagle runner to finish was Trevor Barnes in 22nd at 21:31. Grant Rogers was 39th in 24:12 and Mitchell Long 40th in 24:40. The Eagles next meet will be regionals at Leonardville on Saturday, October 24. The girls run at 3:00 and the boys at 3:30.
