Bob Adkisson Memorial
This is a national scholarship provided by Twin Valley Telephone, a member of the Western Telecommunications Alliance Foundation, Inc. This scholarship is for the children and stepchildren of employees of WTA. Application forms are in Mrs. Newell’s office. Applications must be postmarked by March 10, 2010.
Bluestem Electric Cooperative, Inc.
To be eligible for this scholarship, your parents/guardians must be members of Bluestem Electric Cooperative, Inc.
Scholarship criteria is based on a 2-step process:
1. a Cooperative test point value = 140 points &
personal resume/application point value = 60 points
2. a personal interview point value = 600 points
The scholarship application and open book test are due December 18th.
PRIMO
PRIMO is an organization of telephone employees to promote marketing and public relations for the independent telephone industry in Kansas.
They will award 3, $500 scholarships to students who will attend an accredited Kansas university, college, or technical school.
Eligibility criteria includes being the son or daughter of a Twin Valley Telephone customer AND majoring in marketing, public relations, or telecommunications in college.

Winfield Solutions Agriculture
Ten high school seniors who will major in agriculture related fields will be awarded $1,000 scholarships. The student must demonstrate leadership abilities and academic performance.
Applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2010. Application forms are in Mrs. Newell’s office.
NFIB Young Entrepreneur
Applicants should demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and initiative, such as starting his/her own business & participation in FBLA.
December 31st is the application deadline. Applications are online at
