Fort Scott Community College
FSCC is conducting 2 informative sessions for seniors who are seriously considering them as their college choice.  Each of the sessions will offer information specific to the student’s chosen academic or occupational area and will include a presentation on general education requirements.
Session I is Friday, March 5th  at 1:15 pm featuring academic areas.
Session II is Friday, March 12th at 1:15 pm featuring occupational areas.
Both sessions will include a tour of the campus, the COMPASS or WRAT placement test for the appropriate programs.

Contact Mrs. Newell for a registration postcard.  The deadline for registration isFebruary 26th.

Kansas State University Women’s Rowing
Often high school athletes will pass up the campus visit because rowing is something they’ve never done before.  But that’s more or less the whole point of visiting.  It gives them a chance to meet athletes who were just like them and talk to them about making the switch, stepping up to Division I, balancing K-State academics with serious athletics, and college life in general.  THEN they’re informed to say whether or not it’s something they’re interested in.  Even if it feels like a long shot, going Division I in a new sport IS possible AND it’s a total blast.

If this interests you, please contact Mrs. Newell.
