North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit
“Women in Technology” day is Friday, April 23rd. Did you know that women in non-traditional careers get paid more? Explore career opportunities with hands-on activities in electronics, culinary, welding, heavy equipment, and carpentry.

SoutheastCommunity College – Milford, NE, Campus
June 11th & 12th is SCC’s “Automotive Summer Camp” for students interested in Automotive careers. You will see the latest technology used in the Automotive industry, experience hands-on activities in their labs, see what college life is all about, and meet and work with the instructors in their Automotive programs.
Tuition is $20 per participant – which includes tools, meals, housing and transportation for special activities. Participants must be 16 years old by May 7, 2010.

FHTS is hosting its “Community Open House” on Saturday, March 27th from 1:00 – 4:00. The entire campus will be open and program demonstrations will be going on throughout the buildings. This is also the first day for new students to enroll in classes for the fall semester.
Programs at FHTS include Automotive Technology, Business Administrative Technology, Computer Program Design and Development, Construction Technology, Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Emergency Medical Technician, Graphic Arts Technology, Health Occupations Technology, Hospitality/Culinary Arts, Industrial Engineering Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Network Technology, Paramedic, Practical Nursing, Power Plant Technology, and Welding.

HCC “Blue Dragon Days” have been set.
March 31st is “Recruitment Day” for juniors and seniors and their families to get specific information and details regarding the opportunities at HCC.
April 24th, June 11th, July 9th, & August 6th are the “Enrollment Days” when students take the necessary placement test and receive advising for enrollment in their specific area of interest.
