Due to continued sewage/drainage issues at CCHS we will NOT have school on April 16 (Friday) at CCHS ONLY. CCGS & CCMS will still have class as normal. CCHS staff is not to report. -NHS kids: Mrs Junek will be in touch about the field trip that’s scheduled for tomorrow. -4 students taking the PSAT: please meet at CCMS to take the PSAT as that date is set by them and can’t be changed.

PARENTS OF 16-18 YEAR OLDS: We have an opportunity to have the Covid vaccine offered here in the high school in the next week or two for 16-18 year old students. The second shot will more than likely be right after school is dismissed for summer (4 weeks between shots). 16 and 17 year olds have to have parental permission, but we suggest even 18 year olds discuss this with their parents. THIS IS 100% OPTIONAL! The students received a google form today that's due by tomorrow at noon so the Wash. Co Health Dept can order the shots. Please visit with your student about this.

Anyone that pre-ordered Krispy Kreme donuts from the Juniors a couple weeks ago can pick those up tomorrow (April 10) at CCHS. They'll be out front of the building on the one-way drive from 9:00am-Noon. If you didn't pre-order some there are some extra dozens that will be for sale. Come early and claim those.

Due to wet field and track conditions, the CCMS track meet has been canceled for today and rescheduled for next Thursday (April 15). CCMS will have normal track practice after school today.

The date for the first CCMS Track Meet is incorrect. CCMS will travel to Washington on Monday, March 29th (not April 1st) for their first track meet starting at 1:00 pm. Please contact Mr. Sacco, Mr. Wurtz, or Mr. Begnoche with any questions you have.

Couple of Spring FYIs: -No School April 2 and April 5. -CCHS Prom will be May 1 in Clyde. Promenade info will come out later. -CCHS Graduation is May 16 at 2:00pm. No guest limits as it will be outside at the football field (weather permitting). -Other info on spring events will be published as it becomes available.

Reminder- today (March 14). FFA Alumni meal and auction. Clifton American Legion. 11:00-1:00 hot beef sandwich meal (free will offering). 1:00 auction. Support local FFA!

State Sendoff: Join us in sending the boys off March 9, 2:45pm, from the CCHS parking lot. They will also travel through downtown Clyde if you'd like to wish them well from there.

CCHS State First Round Info: -Tuesday, March 9. 6:00pm at Little River High School. Doors open at 5:00pm. -Each state basketball player will receive 10 ticket vouchers. Each coach and cheerleader will receive 4 ticket vouchers. -100 additional ticket vouchers will be available at CCHS beginning 10:00am on March 8. First come, first serve. Please be respectful and only take what you need. Ticket vouchers are needed for anyone kindergarten and older. -$9 entry fee at the gate. -Online viewing through NFHS Network -Listen locally on KREP 92.1

Congratulations to the CCHS boys’ basketball team on making the state tournament with a win over Frankfort. We will play Tuesday (March 9) evening in Little River. Ticket info and other pertinent info will be announced Sunday, March 7, in the afternoon.

REMINDER on today’s substate championship games: -Girls play at 2:00pm vs D. West -Boys play at 5:00pm vs Frankfort -A different ticket voucher is needed for each game. If you attend both games you will have to leave between the two games and pay again for re-entry. -The ticket and pay rules have been given to us (and Centralia) by KSHSAA. Please be respectful of the workers at Centralia. -Gates will not open more than 30 minutes before game time. -Ticket vouchers for both games will be available at CCHS from 9:00am-10:00am Saturday, March 6. Please be respectful and take no more than needed. -Both games can be viewed on the NFHS network or the “Panthers Centraliaks” Facebook site. Both games can be heard on KREP 92.1.
